Dental Bridge Vancouver, WA

A simple tooth replacement option

A missing tooth can make it hard to live your day to day life. Speaking, eating, and even smiling can become harder than they were before. Depending on your unique situation, dental bridges might be a good option for you to replace that missing tooth.

Dental bridges use 2 stable teeth on either side of a missing tooth to securely replace the tooth. At Pickens Family Dentistry, we offer modern dental bridge treatment and will work with you to determine if dental bridges are a good option for your situation.

Contact us today to meet with Dr. Pickens and see if a dental bridge is right for you.

Dental Bridges at Pickens Family Dentistry

When it comes to your oral health, fixing issues as they develop is crucial to maintain a smile you love. Dental bridges are a great option for patients who have a mostly healthy mouth, but need to replace a single tooth in between 2 stable and healthy teeth. The bridge restoration will replace the missing tooth, while crowns will be placed on the existing 2 healthy teeth to keep the bridge in place.

When you come to our office for a missing tooth exam, we’ll use our high-tech diagnostic tools to ensure pinpoint accuracy in our diagnosis. Once we understand what you’re experiencing, we’ll lay out the status of your oral health and present our treatment options and recommendations, potentially including dental bridges. We’ll always answer your questions and fill you in on what you can expect.

    Our Dental Bridges Process

    1. We’ll prepare the 2 surrounding teeth to act as anchors for your dental bridge

    2. Measurements are taken of the missing tooth area to ensure a perfect and comfortable fit

    3. While your custom bridge is prepared, we’ll place a temporary bridge

    4. Once your tooth-color-matched bridge is complete, we’ll bond it into place for your permanent restoration

This is the best dental office EVER. Honestly, I fly up from Southern California to get my teeth cleaned here and any other dental work done – I absolutely refuse to go anywhere else. Dr. Pickens and the staff are exceptional, and they’ll never, ever push work on you and will always make sure you’re comfortable and understand why any work needs to be done. HIGHLY recommended!

    Dental Bridges FAQs

Can I replace the front teeth with a bridge?

You can — in fact, it is very common! Bridges can replace either front or back teeth.

How long do dental bridges last?

Dental bridges will last around 12 years with proper care. Always be sure to treat your bridge like you would any other teeth and to brush, floss, and attend twice-yearly cleaning and exams to ensure it stays in good condition.
